Has anyone else heard about the safety concerns at the Mud Hills shooting area? I was reading about the tragic incident involving David Elliot Ferreira, and it got me thinking. It’s so heartbreaking to see such a promising life cut short in an accident. This area wasn’t officially designated as a range for a long time, and it seems like it’s not really set up for safe shooting with ricochets being a known risk. I can't help but wonder if anyone else feels like there should be more oversight or regulations, especially since it’s now under the National Park Service? My thoughts go out to David’s family and friends—I hope they find some peace in knowing he was so well-loved and respected in the community. ?
