Has anyone else been thinking about the odd behavior Joseph Frankulin displayed before this horrific incident? The fact that he started selling all his belongings and boarding up his house is just downright eerie. It seems like there were so many red flags. I can't help but feel that this whole situation might have been prevented if someone had taken a closer look at his actions. I know there was a welfare check, and he even surrendered a firearm, but it seems like that wasn’t enough. It's just so frustrating and sad to think about what Jennifer and little Lex went through. My heart goes out to the family and everyone who knew them. This whole thing highlights how important it is for communities to be vigilant and supportive. Sometimes, all it takes is one person to speak up and help avert a tragedy.
Has anyone heard any more updates about Joseph Frankulin's mental health leading up to this horrible event? I saw a few mentions that his behavior had become really erratic in the months before the tragedy, and neighbors seem to have noticed something wasn't quite right. It’s so sad that despite the warning signs—like selling his stuff and boarding up his house—nothing was done to prevent this. It’s chilling to think that someone who had previously performed in a band and presumably led a somewhat social life became so isolated and troubled. I wish there had been more intervention; maybe it could have saved Jennifer and Lex. It's so important for communities to act when they see these kinds of red flags. My heart goes out to the family and everyone affected by this.
I’ve been following this case closely, and my heart goes out to the Donoso family. A detail that keeps sticking with me is Frankulin’s strange behavior in the months leading up to this awful tragedy. It seems like the whole neighborhood had noticed his erratic actions—boarding up his house, selling off his belongings, and engaging in bizarre attempts to connect with the local kids through skateboards and ramps. With hindsight, it appears there were red flags, but isn't it always tricky to piece these things together before something terrible happens?
What strikes me most is that despite these concerns, no substantial actions were taken after the welfare check apart from Frankulin giving up a firearm. It makes one wonder about the effectiveness and limitations of these checks, especially when dealing with someone presenting such unpredictable and troubling behavior. It's a chilling reminder that mental health and community support systems really need more resources and attention to potentially avert such nightmares.
Sending love to all who knew and loved Jennifer and Lex. They didn’t deserve this, and neither did the community that’s been left to grapple with the aftermath.
