Hey everyone, I've been following the Derrick Parks case and something that just doesn't sit right with me is how public support seems to be dwindling. I came across a local news clip from a few months back asking for any witnesses to step forward, but it didn't really seem to gain much traction. It makes me wonder if there were any community outreach efforts or local events held to raise awareness about Derrick's case after the initial news coverage. Does anyone remember if there were vigils or community meetings? It feels like those can sometimes jog memories or encourage people to come forward. Even small tips can be vital when a case hits a dead end. It breaks my heart thinking about Derrick’s family not seeing justice served because someone who might hold a key piece of information hasn’t come forward yet. Any thoughts on how we can help reignite some attention towards this investigation? Maybe there’s something we can do collectively to support his family and remind folks that his case is still open? Let's keep the conversation going—for Derrick and his loved ones. Thanks for reading.

Has anyone else been following the Derrick Parks case? I recently came across an old article mentioning a mysterious vehicle spotted near the crime scene around the time of the shooting. It was described as a dark-colored sedan, but no one’s been able to track it down or confirm its connection to the incident. It's so frustrating because something like this could've been a solid lead! If anyone has any remembered sightings or tips regarding this vehicle, even if it seems minor, please share them. It's been over seven years now, and the more people passing info to the Las Vegas PD, the better the chances we can bring justice and closure for Derrick’s loved ones. Just heartbreaking and reminds me how difficult these cases can be, especially when clues seem so close yet remain out of reach.

I've been following Derrick Parks' case and something that's been bothering me is the lack of security footage in the area around West Owens Avenue and Stocker Street. Given that it's a relatively busy part of northeast Las Vegas, you'd think there would be surveillance cameras at nearby businesses or traffic cameras that might have captured vehicles or individuals around the time of the shooting. It's so frustrating knowing that footage like that could have potentially provided some leads or even caught the suspect on camera. My heart goes out to Derrick's family; I can’t imagine how difficult it is not having answers. If anyone is familiar with that area, do you know if there are businesses or traffic sites that might have footage that was overlooked, or could they have been checked already? Maybe local residents or business owners could help shed some light if they haven't been asked yet. It's a long shot, but sometimes these small details can tip the scale. Anyone with resources to check should definitely make a call to the police. Derrick and his loved ones deserve closure.
