Has anyone else been following the Charles Edward Warren and Deante Dixon case from 2016? I find it particularly surreal how such a violent act could occur in what was supposed to be the safety of an apartment complex. I can't help but think about the witnesses who saw those two suspects fleeing—imagine the fear they must have felt seeing something so chilling right in front of them. My heart goes out to the families of Charles and Deante. It must have been so overwhelming and frustrating during the years when the case was still unsolved. The community’s response and cooperation seem to have been critical in eventually getting justice. I'm really interested in how local residents felt about safety in the area after the incident. If anyone is from around there, did this change how you view your neighborhood?
