I've been following the case of Clarence and Margaret Distler, and it's one that's really stayed with me. I can't help but wonder about the motive behind such a horrendous act. It's so difficult to comprehend why anyone would target an elderly couple like them. They should have been safe and living peacefully in their golden years, not subject to such violence.
Does anyone else find it odd that there have been no updates from the police about suspects or leads? It's been several years now, and it feels like this case has gone cold. I truly hope the authorities are still actively investigating and that answers come soon for the sake of their family and friends. Sending prayers to those who knew and loved the Distlers. They deserve justice, and it's unsettling how little closure there seems to be in this case.
Has anyone else been following the Clarence and Margaret Distler case from back in 2017? I keep thinking about the fact that they were found near the rear wall of a residential area. It just makes me wonder about the proximity to neighbors—were they out walking? Did anyone hear anything that night or see anything odd? The community must have been close-knit, and it's hard to imagine such a tragic event occurring without someone noticing something. The violence against two people in their 80s is just so unsettling. I really hope the LVPD is able to shed more light on their movements leading up to that day or find any witnesses who might have seen them. The lack of suspects up to now is baffling. Keeping their family in my thoughts and wishing for a breakthrough in this case soon.
