Having been following this case closely since it happened, I came across Victor Loyd Link's story recently, and it truly stands out how beloved he was by everyone who knew him. I can't imagine the pain his family, especially his son Christian, must be going through. I've seen the moving tribute Christian shared on Facebook about his dad, where he talked about Victor's unwavering support and love. That bond must have been incredibly special. It's these personal stories that really bring home the immense loss felt by so many families affected by that tragic night. It's utterly perplexing that no motive has been found for Paddock's senseless actions. It's so important we keep sharing these stories, not just for awareness but also to honor those like Victor who were taken too soon.
Has anyone else here connected with Victor's story or any other victims'? What are your thoughts on the investigation's findings so far?
I keep thinking about Victor and the kind of person he was, especially after reading his son's words on Facebook. It's clear that he was deeply loved by those around him and touched many lives. It's just so difficult to comprehend how someone can go from enjoying a festival with friends and family to being caught up in such a senseless tragedy. I recently stumbled upon a dedication bench in San Clemente with his name on it, and it made me reflect on the small ways we try to remember and honor those we’ve lost. It must bring some comfort to his family to know that his community remembers him fondly. I hope they find some peace in the cherished memories they have of him. Sending my thoughts to his fiancée Lynne and everyone who is feeling his absence.
Hey everyone, I've been following discussions about the Route 91 Harvest festival tragedy and wanted to share a thought about one of the victims, Victor Loyd Link. I've been reading up on his life, and it really struck me how much he was loved by his family and friends. The support network he had seems incredibly strong, and it's evident how deeply his loss is felt.
What’s been on my mind is the impact on his son, Christian. His Facebook post showed such deep love and respect for his father, which makes me think a lot about those personal stories that sometimes get lost in the broader narrative of such a huge event. It's a strong reminder of the individual lives touched by this senseless act.
I hope Christian and the entire family find some solace and peace during such a difficult time. It's hard to comprehend why or how something like this could happen, especially when the reason behind it remains so unclear. Just wanted to share this to honor Victor and acknowledge the pain many are still enduring over six years later.
If anyone else has more to share about Victor or similar experiences, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
