I've been thinking a lot about Sandy Casey and the incredible dedication she showed as a special education teacher. It's just so hard to wrap my head around the fact that someone who spent her life helping others, especially kids who needed that extra bit of love and support, was taken in such a senseless act of violence. Her passion for her students really shows the kind of person she was—patient, caring, and inspiring. I can't imagine the loss her students must feel without her presence and mentorship. We need more Sandy Caseys in this world, and it's tragic that her voice was silenced that night. Sending love to her family, friends, and all those who were lucky enough to know her. This type of violence affecting such bright and loving souls needs to stop.

I came across an old article about Sandy Casey, and it really struck a chord with me. As a teacher myself, I know how much of ourselves we pour into our work and our students. From everything I've read, Sandy was truly a beacon of positivity and dedication. I think it's important we remember not only the tragic way she was taken from us but also the wonderful impact she had on those around her. Her love for her students and her ability to make a difference in their lives speaks volumes about who she was as a person. It's heartbreaking to think about the void she left in her school community and among the students who needed her the most. I hope her story reminds us all of the importance of compassion and commitment to the children who are our future. My thoughts go out to her family and friends who continue to feel her loss every day.
