I can't shake the feeling of devastation when I think about Larry Parra and his best friend, Jason Rogers. Larry went out to have a good time at that festival, celebrating his 40th birthday, despite being so ill. It's so unfair that someone who was already going through so much had his life so cruelly ended. I feel for Jason who must carry the memory of that night. Not only did Larry's family lose him, but Jason lost a best friend in such an unimaginable way. It’s haunting to think that someone’s life can change so drastically in an instant. I hope they both find peace and that someday, those of us still trying to make sense of it can find some too. Peace and love to all who lost someone that night. ??

I can't stop thinking about the incredible bond between Larry Parra and his best friend, Jason Rogers. It's devastating to hear how they were separated during such chaos. Celebrating a 40th birthday should have been full of joy and music with his favorite artist, not ending in such tragedy. This senseless act didn't just take away a loved friend but has left a deep emptiness in those lives he touched. I hope Jason Rogers and everyone who knew Larry can find some peace and healing in the memories they shared with him. It’s times like these where the incredible strength and support within a community truly matter. ?
