Does anyone else find themselves deeply moved by the stories of heroism that emerged from the Las Vegas shooting? Erick Silva's actions really highlight the incredible courage some people demonstrate in the most terrifying situations. He was just 21 and put others’ lives before his own. I came across a post from his former classmates who mentioned how kind and driven he was, always talking about becoming a police officer. It's so sad to see such a promising young life taken away so senselessly. It makes me think about the ripple effect his bravery must have had on those he helped that night.
