Does anyone have more info about Calla Marie Medig's life before the tragedy? I read that she was from Jasper and had just been promoted at work. It's clear she was ambitious and making strides in her career. I can’t help but think about her colleagues and friends back home - they must have been so proud of her achievements and are likely feeling her absence deeply. Losing someone with a bright future ahead is just so painful. Sending strength and love to all who knew her.
I was reading up on some of the victims from the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting, and it really stuck with me how Calla Marie Medig had just started to move up in her career before that horrific night. She had recently been promoted to manager, which is such a big achievement, especially when you work your way up from being a server. It's so sad to think about someone with such promise and dedication suddenly being taken from this world.
Calla's story is a reminder of the potential each victim had and how all those lives were filled with dreams and ambitions that are now forever unfulfilled.
