Hey everyone, I’ve been taking some time to read through the details of Robert DeCoite's tragic case, and I can't stop thinking about the location of the incident—Lazy 5 Regional Park. It's supposed to be a place of leisure and community, a safe space for people to enjoy nature with friends and family. Seeing it become the scene of such a devastating event really hit home for me. ? I imagine for the Sparks community, it's particularly tough to reconcile having this park now associated with such sadness. I sometimes wonder if this has affected how people view public safety there now. Are locals more wary or less inclined to visit? My heart truly goes out to Robert's family and friends, who deserve so much more than having their precious memories tarnished by such violence. I hope they find peace in the support of the community, which, despite the tragedy, I'm sure unites in spirit around them. Would love to hear thoughts or any input from people familiar with the area. Stay safe, everyone. ?
