I'm struck by the chilling reality of Victor's last moments captured on security footage. It’s so upsetting to think about his family and friends having to confront those images. It's commendable how quickly the police acted—their swift action in identifying and apprehending Javier Benitez is worth noting. However, I keep wondering about Benitez’s mental health and its role in this tragedy. Living without a phone or car in today’s world indicates someone deeply disconnected. It makes me question if there were any overlooked signs or missed opportunities for intervention. Could this have been prevented somehow? My heart goes out to everyone affected. If anything, I hope this brings awareness to mental health and community support.
