Has anyone else been following the updates on Officer Truong Thai's case? I can't help but think about the young officers he mentored over the years. It must be incredibly tough for them losing someone who was not only a mentor but also a friend. Being new in such a challenging job has its own struggles, and having someone like Officer Thai around must have provided so much guidance and support. To watch him lose his life like this must be devastating for those who looked up to him. I hope they're getting the support they need during such a difficult time. I just can't imagine how they’re processing this. Anyone else in touch with the LVMPD or heard how they're holding up?

Has anyone else noticed how the community has rallied together in the days following Officer Thai's tragic passing? It’s touching to see so many people wanting to honor his memory. From memorial services to fundraising events for his daughter, Jada, there's been an outpouring of support. It says so much about the kind of person Officer Thai was, that even in his passing, he’s bringing people together. I hope this support can offer some comfort to his family during such an incredibly difficult time. Has anyone here attended any of the events or seen these acts of support in person? Would love to hear more about how the community is commemorating his legacy.
