I can’t stop thinking about the disturbing items found in the Nissan during this case. The discovery of those two handguns and the zip ties is just chilling and seems to show how much Cabrera-Hernandez had thought through his actions. It makes me wonder if the police found anything else that hinted at his plans or state of mind. While I absolutely understand the urgency of the situation and the need to prevent any further harm, I can’t help but feel for everyone involved, especially the brother who was held hostage. He must have gone through something beyond terrifying, and I hope he receives all the support he needs to heal from this traumatic experience. My heart goes out to Jano Gonzalez Blanco’s family as well. This entire situation is just devastating for so many people.
