Has anyone else been following the details about Antoinette Whitaker's case and the involvement (or lack thereof) of Rodney Alcala? One thing I keep coming back to is the lack of forensic evidence directly linking Alcala to Antoinette’s murder. I understand the era they were in—1977 wasn’t exactly known for cutting-edge forensics, but it still frustrates me. Knowing how Alcala maneuvered around the law makes me wonder if there's more evidence out there that simply wasn’t discovered or documented well enough at the time. It's devastating to think that Antoinette's loved ones have been left without a solid resolution all these years. Maybe with advances in technology, there's still hope for closure, even if it seems slim. What are your thoughts? Could there be things we've missed that could potentially be revisited with today’s methods?
