I recently came across the tragic case of John Carrillo from back in 1977, and it's deeply unsettling how long this case has remained unsolved. Imagine the pain his family must have endured all these years, not knowing who took him from them so abruptly. It’s so frustrating to see that after decades, justice hasn't been served.
I stumbled upon a discussion about the possibility of witnesses who might have seen something that night. Considering it happened on a public sidewalk, surely someone else must have been around or heard something at the time, right? It's hard to believe that with all the advancements in forensic technology over the years, there still hasn't been a breakthrough. My heart really goes out to his family and those who knew him. Let's hope someone comes forward with a tip someday soon. Has there been any renewed interest in solving cold cases like this in Denver recently?
I came across this tragic case and cannot stop thinking about that poor gentleman, John Carrillo. It’s chilling to imagine someone finding him there, and it makes me wonder about the circumstances that led to such a terrible incident. 1977 feels like a different world now, but the pain his family and friends must have felt surely hasn’t faded with time.
I keep asking myself what might have happened near 24th and Stout Streets that night. Was it a random act? Did someone know him? It’s so unsettling. I hope that bringing more attention to his story might encourage someone who knows something to come forward. You never know who might hold the final piece of the puzzle. Sending thoughts to those who still bear the weight of his loss. ?️
Hey everyone, I've been reading through some old cases and I can't get John Carrillo's unsolved murder out of my head. I just learned about it recently and it's truly sad how this man's life ended that cold November night back in '77. I was thinking about how busy that intersection at 24th and Stout Streets must have been even back then. It's hard to believe that nobody saw or heard anything more that could help identify the killer.
Does anyone know if there were any businesses nearby that might have had witnesses or even old surveillance footage? I know technology wasn't what it is today, but any little detail could count. Sending good vibes and strength to his family and friends who have had to carry this burden for so long. Let's hope that someday soon, someone with a key piece of information will step forward.
