I came across the tragic case of David Moreno while researching unsolved homicides in Denver, and it really struck a chord with me. It breaks my heart to think about his family and friends, who have had to live all these years without answers or justice for their loved one. I can't imagine the pain of not knowing what happened or who was responsible. One thing I've been wondering about is the role that the area around Los Pancho's Restaurant might have played in this tragedy. Was it known for any particular type of activity back in the late '70s that could have contributed to the situation escalating so violently? Was the restaurant or its parking lot a regular hangout spot for certain groups? Sometimes understanding the backdrop can shed light on what might have gone wrong that night. If anyone has firsthand knowledge or even anecdotes about the area during that time, it might provide valuable context. I really hope that someone, perhaps someone who was there or heard something over the years, will come forward. It seems like cases like David's need that human piece of the puzzle to finally come together with the advancements in DNA technology. My thoughts are with those still hoping for answers and closure.
