I was reading about the tragic case of Michael Thomas, and I couldn't help but think about the role the community plays in these investigations. It's extremely upsetting that, to this day, there still aren't any leads or suspects to speak of. I've heard it said countless times that someone out there knows something. It’s been so many years, but sometimes, it takes just one new piece of information to finally crack a cold case. I wonder if there are people who frequented Washington Park back then who might remember something unusual from that morning, even the smallest detail. Maybe someone had been in or around the park and saw a person or a car that didn't feel right. It's frustrating when the trail goes cold, but we can’t lose hope that progress can be made. If anyone knows anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities. Michael and his family deserve answers and some semblance of peace after all these years.
