Hi everyone,
Has anyone else been wondering about the weather conditions on the day Wilson and the group went missing? I’ve been doing a bit of digging, and October 20th, 2020, was recorded to have some pretty rough weather in that region. It seems like strong winds and choppy waters might have been a factor. I'm no expert, but I can't help but think how difficult it would’ve been to navigate a 20-foot skiff under those circumstances. Does anyone from the area recall how common it is for boats to travel during such weather? Any local knowledge on how a 60 horsepower motor would perform in those conditions? Something just doesn’t sit right with me, and I wonder if there’s more we can find out about that particular day's weather patterns. Hoping for some insight from folks familiar with the area!

Has anyone else noticed how unusual the weather was around the time Wilson and the group went missing? I'm just looking over some local reports and it looks like there was an unexpected storm that hit near the Eek River around October 20th, 2020. I'm wondering if that could have played a role in the disappearance. I know the area can be really treacherous with sudden weather changes. Did they have any emergency gear with them, like radios or life vests? It's so strange that not a single one of them, or even the boat, has been found. Makes me wonder if something more unexpected happened out there. Thoughts?

Just wondering if they got caught up in something sudden. It seems strange that they vanished without a trace, considering the waterways are fairly traveled by locals.
