Hey folks, I came across something interesting while looking into the Father's Day Bank Massacre, and I was hoping to hear your thoughts. I'm curious about what happened to those fake IDs they found at James King’s house. It's unsettling to think he might've had the access or connections to get those made, especially if they had any tie to law enforcement. I wish we knew more about where those IDs came from or if they matched any known providers or sources from back then. It feels like such a critical piece that might've provided a lead or connection that was overlooked. It must be unbelievably frustrating for the families, especially Scott McCarthy's loved ones, to know that justice was never fully served. It's cases like these that make you think how one detail can make or break an investigation. Anyone else think those IDs could have been the missing link?
I'm just so struck by how methodical the killer seemed during the attack, especially in how he managed to bypass the bank's security system. It makes me think of those theories floating around about him possibly being a former employee or even having a law enforcement background. I mean, knowing exactly where to find Scott McCarthy and the others and being so precise with the shots fired—17 out of 18 hitting targets—that’s not something just anyone could pull off, right? It’s devastating to think that someone who could have been a trusted colleague or even a friend to those guards might have betrayed them so brutally. My heart goes out to Scott’s family and all the families affected by this. They deserve answers. Does anyone else find it odd that, with such credible suspicions about King's background, they could never find anything concrete to link him to this terrible crime? It’s like there’s a crucial piece missing.
