Does anyone else feel deeply unsettled by the fact that Nathan Dunlap spent time in the restaurant on the night of the shooting, calmly playing an arcade game and ordering a sandwich? It’s chilling to think that he was just blending in, waiting and watching like everything was normal. My heart goes out to Colleen O'Connor's family and the families of the other victims, knowing they lost their loved ones just because he happened to be there that night. It's terrifying to ponder how someone can act so normal before committing such monstrous acts, especially in a place that's supposed to be filled with joy and laughter. I hope the community has found some healing in the decades since—all the victims deserve to be remembered for who they were, not just how they were taken from us.
