I was doing some research on the unsolved murder of Darryl Eugene "Red" McGee, and I couldn’t help but feel for his family, especially his children, Ariel and Jerica. Having their father taken from them in such a traumatic way must be unimaginably hard. What really struck me was how the community has a role to play in these cases. It’s been over two decades, and there's still no resolution for the family. The Denver Police Department is still asking for tips, and while it’s good to know they haven’t given up, it must be incredibly frustrating for the family not to have answers. If anyone reading this knows something, even something seemingly small, it could be the puzzle piece the investigation needs. It's time we rally around Darryl's family and help bring them the justice they deserve. ❤️

Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of Darryl McGee's tragic murder from way back in 2003, and I recently started thinking about why, even after all these years, there haven’t been any leads or suspects named. It really makes you question what might have been missed or if someone out there knows something that could finally unlock this mystery. I came across a detail that I find quite puzzling—his murder happened on a residential block, the 2600 block of East Bruce Randolph Avenue. Surely, someone must have seen or heard something significant that night. How does a shooting occur in a neighborhood without anyone having useful information? I’m hoping this post encourages even just one person who might have been in the area at the time, or who heard something later, to come forward. The anguish his family must still feel is unimaginable. Darryl, known as "Red," was a father and a son, and his family deserves to know what happened. Let's keep his story alive until justice is served. If anyone out there remembers anything, even if it seems small, please consider reaching out to the Denver Police Department. Your piece of the puzzle might be just what's needed to close this case. Stay safe, everyone, and let's hope for some resolution on this soon.
