I was going through some old case files from Denver and came across David Gonzales's story. I hadn't heard about it before, but it's clear it's left quite a mark on his community. It’s just so tragic how he was trying to avoid trouble, yet somehow ended up in the middle of this senseless violence. I think what's most frustrating is that after all these years, there are still no answers for his family and friends. I can't imagine their pain, wondering if justice will ever be served. It really makes me wonder if there's information out there that someone might be holding onto, either out of fear or reluctance. It's encouraging to see the Cold Case Unit is on it, though. Hopefully, with new developments in DNA and other investigative techniques, there’s still a chance for some breakthroughs. If anyone knows anything, even the smallest detail could really change things for them. No family should have to go through what David’s has endured for all these years. Keep spreading the word and let’s hope for some much-needed answers.
