Does anyone else get emotional seeing how communities come together after tragedies like Tyrece Stornes' murder? It’s incredibly moving seeing how his family and friends rallied online to remember him and share stories about his infectious energy and love for his community. This has me reflecting on just how many lives Tyrece touched and how vibrant he must have been. It’s so senseless that drive-by shootings continue to claim lives and cause so much heartache. We need more focus on improving the safety and resources in these neighborhoods. How can we help bring about change? Any thoughts on community actions or organizations that could use more support in the South Side area?
