I’ve been following the Kapper case ever since the news broke, and one thing that keeps sticking with me is Brandon's last Facebook post. It's haunting to think about what he might have been going through. As someone who’s had my own battles with feeling low, his words strike a chord: "So empty and miserable. So incomplete." Sadly, I think sometimes we forget how powerful reaching out can be, both for those who need help and for us as a community to offer support. I’ve noticed there’s often a stigma around sharing these feelings, especially for young men. I hope Brandon’s friends and family know they’re not alone and that their pain is felt by all of us. We're all here to listen and learn, and maybe it can push us to have those tough conversations about mental health more openly. This tragedy serves as another painful reminder of how critical it is to check in on each other and offer a compassionate ear whenever we can.
