It's easy to overlook how being transient can affect someone's mental health and decision-making. It makes me wonder about the resources that might have helped prevent such a crime if they were available to him sooner. The quick response from law enforcement is commendable, but it doesn't bring Robert back. I hope the community can support his family through this difficult time and that maybe some good, like increased mental health initiatives, can come from this tragedy. Thoughts are with everyone affected by this horrible event.
