I've been following the Robert Carrigan case for a while, and I can't help but think about the role of mental health and how it might have played into the tragedy that unfolded. It's so easy to focus on the events and legal aspects, but there's often a deeper story underneath. Was Carrigan going through something that led him to enter Galvin's home, and did either of the men have a chance to address their issues before it came to such a sad end?
It's just sad for everyone involved—Carrigan's family, who lost a loved one, and Galvin, who has to live with what happened. I wish there were more resources or interventions to help prevent things from escalating to such violent outcomes. Anyway, I'm curious to know if anyone has come across any additional insight or reports on this angle of the case.
