This case has been on my mind, and I wanted to discuss the role of the community during such tragic times. The residents of the 200 block of Osceola Street in Denver must be deeply affected by the murder of Jairo Perez Bojorquez. I imagine it has been incredibly unsettling having such violence occur so close to home. I hope the community is rallying together to support each other, as well as help the investigators where possible. Often, community tips or seeing something out of the ordinary can be crucial in these cases. My thoughts are with Jairo's family and friends during this difficult time. They deserve answers, and hopefully, the ongoing investigation will bring them some peace. Anyone else here from the neighborhood, or familiar with how the community has been coping?
I've been following the discussions surrounding the tragic murder of Jairo Perez Bojorquez and am amazed at how resilient the community has been in supporting his family. One thing I keep thinking about is how difficult it must be for them not to know all the details leading up to that day on April 22, 2016. Whenever these kinds of cases unfold, it’s a sobering reminder of how lives get tangled in ways we might never fully understand. We need to keep advocating for transparency and pushing for answers, so the victims' loved ones don’t have to live with unanswered questions. Until then, holding Jairo’s family in our thoughts and hoping for continued strength and justice.
