I’ve been following Janice Nam’s case since it first broke back in 2016. One aspect that's been on my mind a lot lately is the role that Galloway’s military background might’ve played in his actions. It's scary to think someone who was trained to protect could become so obsessed and dangerous. I can't help but wonder if any warning signs were missed during his time at Fort Carson, or if there were any interventions that could have happened sooner. My heart goes out to Janice’s family and friends – they truly deserved more intervention, and it’s horrifying to think how this might’ve been preventable with the right support systems in place. Does anyone have insights into how such histories are typically handled within military systems?
