I can't stop thinking about how a simple outing on a regular afternoon turned deadly for Nate. Imagine being in the heart of downtown Denver, probably just going about your daily routine, and something so senseless happens. It's really hard to fathom how quickly life can change. I read that the shooter, Steven Wiley, was caught trying to flee the scene on a bus. It’s scary to think how casually someone could try to evade justice, as if leaving the scene would erase the tragedy they caused. My heart goes out to Nate’s friends and family. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through. It does make me appreciate the fast action of the police, though. At least Wiley was caught quickly, which is a small step toward justice for Nate. I hope the investigation brings answers and some form of peace to everyone affected by this tragedy. It's stories like these that remind us how precious and fragile life really is.

I've been reading through the details of the case, and something that's really been on my mind is the role of the unknown woman who was with Steven Wiley at the time of the arrest. It's baffling to me that she was detained but not charged, and I'm curious what her connection to Wiley might be. Was she just in the wrong place at the wrong time, or is there more to her involvement? It’s awful to think about how this tragic event has impacted Nate's loved ones, and I hope they get the answers they deserve. Given the quick response by the Denver police, it would be interesting to know if there were any eyewitnesses who saw something that day. I hope more details come to light soon, bringing clarity to this unsettling situation. Keeping Nate’s family in my thoughts.
