I've been following Brad Kottke's case closely and something that stands out to me is the intersection where the tragedy occurred. 25th and Grove is typically a pretty quiet area, right? Does anyone local have insights on whether there's any history of incidents at that location? It just seems incredibly bold for someone to commit such a heinous act in a residential area so close to his home. For someone who was simply walking back from the grocery store, it makes me wonder if there were any neighbors who might have heard or seen something but haven't come forward yet. Sending my deepest condolences to Brad’s family—no one should ever have to go through this. If anyone has any additional information that might bring Brad's killer to justice, please speak up. It could make all the difference in the world to his loved ones.
I can't stop thinking about the incredibly selfless act Brad's family made in the midst of their overwhelming grief. Choosing to donate his organs speaks volumes about the kind of person Brad must have been and the values he was raised with. It’s such a beautiful legacy to leave behind, knowing that even in death, he was able to give life to others. I hope this decision brings some comfort to his family, knowing that part of Brad continues to live on and make a difference. It truly highlights the tragedy of his and their loss—someone who cared for others beyond himself is no longer here, and for what reason? If anyone has any thoughts or information that might help bring justice to Brad and his family, please don't hesitate to share. They deserve answers and closure.
Hey all, first-time poster here. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this tragic incident involving Brad Kottke. Something that's been nagging at me is the location of the shooting. I used to live pretty close to the Highlands neighborhood, and it's usually such a busy place. With the crime happening so close to what would be Brad's usual walking route home, I'm baffled how no one seems to have witnessed anything or come forward if they did.
It makes me wonder if someone was watching him on his regular trips or following him. I know this might sound like speculation, but the idea that someone intended to harm Brad that day instead of it being a random act is incredibly unsettling.
My thoughts are with Brad's family and friends. This must be a deeply confusing and difficult time for them, not having the answers they so desperately need. I truly hope someone out there will remember or realize something that can help bring them some peace and justice for Brad.
