Just heard about the tragedy of Jacob Clymer and can't stop thinking about how quickly things escalated in what should have been a routine sale. It's chilling to think that a simple online transaction for an Xbox, something many of us have done without a second thought, could end in such tragedy. I'm particularly struck by the impact this must have had on the immediate surroundings and community members. Witnesses in apartment complexes often hear or see echoes of violent events, but the reality of a murder happening almost in their backyard must've been traumatizing. Thinking of those folks, as they had to deal not only with the crime itself but likely also with their own fears and concerns about safety. Additionally, my heart goes out to Jacob’s family and friends, who had no idea their lives would turn upside down on a regular day. Just unimaginable. How do you even prepare yourself for something like this? Hugging my loved ones a bit tighter tonight. ❤️
