I was thinking about how deeply this tragedy has affected the children involved. It’s tough to imagine the pain and confusion they must be going through after losing a parent so suddenly. James Quilter seems to have been a very devoted father, and his kids were undoubtedly loved beyond measure.
In the middle of all the legal proceedings and news coverage, I hope there's a strong support system around them—providing care, counseling, and whatever else they need to heal. No child should have to endure such pain, and my heart goes out to them during this time.
