Does anyone find it strange how William Elmer Chism's case doesn't seem to have any leads even after all these years? I mean, he was last seen at a VA hospital in a huge city like Los Angeles. You'd think there would be some CCTV footage or a witness who remembers something, right? I get that it was 1980, but hospitals usually keep records, and it feels odd that not a single trace of him has turned up. Also, why couldn't the ex-wife file the missing person's report in the first place? That part really puzzles me. If anyone has insights or theories about why there have been so few developments, I’d be interested to hear them.
