Hey everyone,
Does anyone have any thoughts on the lack of arrests in the Horizon Lounge case? It’s been over three years, and it feels like justice is moving so slowly for Leland Hines and Dowan Lewis Alexander. I can’t even begin to imagine what their families are going through. It must be incredibly frustrating and painful to have no closure.
I keep wondering if maybe someone saw something that night but hasn’t come forward yet. It can be tough to do the right thing, but even the smallest detail could be crucial. Maybe there's fear involved, but there are ways to share info anonymously.
What’s everyone’s opinion on how the community can rally to help bring some leads to light? I hope 2023 will be the year that something breaks in this case.
Stay safe, everyone. ?
Has anyone else been following the case of the tragic shooting at the Horizon Lounge back in July 2020? It's been a long time since that terrible night, and my heart goes out to the families of Leland Hines and Dowan Lewis Alexander. Two lives lost and still no closure—that just doesn't seem fair.
I was thinking about the community's role in situations like this. It must be so difficult for people who might have information to step forward, but it's crucial for bringing justice. I wonder if the nature of the area around East 33rd and Hudson could have affected the investigation. It's a busy spot, lots of people around, which makes me think someone must have seen something that could help. If anyone here was in the neighborhood or knows about the lounge, do you think there's a chance people might still come forward with new information? I truly hope someone finds the courage to speak up and helps bring some peace to the families affected.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the shocking events surrounding the shooting near Horizon Lounge, and something that's sticking in my mind is the role of community involvement in cases like this. It's sad that despite all the investigation efforts by the DPD, there's still a lack of solid leads or arrests. It must be incredibly frustrating for the families of Leland Hines and Dowan Lewis Alexander, along with the survivors who were injured that night.
One thing that's really important is how much a community can contribute to solving such cases. Even the tiniest piece of information could be crucial. I've seen other cases where the community stepping up made all the difference. It's a reminder of how interconnected we all are and how we can play a part in bringing justice for Leland, Dowan, and their loved ones.
If anyone on here knows people in the Denver area, maybe just spreading the word could lead to something. No piece of information is too small. Let's hope for some breakthroughs soon.
Sending strength and support to all those affected.
