It's really hard to wrap my mind around the senselessness of this tragedy. Phillip Hunt was known for being a genuinely kind person in Aurora, and it’s alarming how quickly something like road rage escalated into a loss of life. One aspect that's been sticking with me is the fact that the suspect, Romeo Desean Thompson, was already known to have a record involving weapons. This raises so many questions about how someone with a history of firearm offenses could still end up in a situation like this. It's worrying and frustrating, to say the least. My heart goes out to Phillip Hunt’s family and friends. They’re enduring a pain no family should face. I hope they find some solace in the community's outpour of support and the efforts of the Aurora PD to seek justice for Phillip. Is anyone else concerned about the implications of Thompson’s past record in how this case is being handled?
