I’ve been reading through the posts, and it’s truly devastating to think about how Dustyn James's life was cut short so unexpectedly. I wanted to focus on the impact this has on his siblings, especially since being a sibling myself, I can’t imagine the pain they must be going through right now. Losing a brother so young is incredibly tough, and often it makes you feel not just grief, but a sense of all the lost moments and memories that will never come to be. It’s a reminder of how precious life is and how it can change in an instant. To Carmen, Hannah, Kahlan, and Alexis — I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I hope that the shared memories you have of Dustyn bring you some comfort during such a difficult time. Please know that your strength through this is inspiring, and there are communities out here who are keeping you in their thoughts. I truly hope there will be justice for Dustyn someday.
