I recently came across this tragic case about Pamela Cabriales, and I can’t help but feel deeply for her family and her young son. It's so hard to understand how a simple traffic mishap escalated to such violence. One aspect that’s been swirling in my mind is the role trauma might have played in Remi Cordova’s actions. While it certainly doesn’t excuse what happened, learning about his past filled with neglect and abuse adds another layer of complexity. This doesn’t bring Pamela back or ease the pain her loved ones are feeling, but it makes me wonder how much of an impact childhood trauma can have on someone's life choices. Should more be done to intervene early in such situations before they escalate to something this severe? Sending thoughts and strength to everyone affected by this senseless act. ?
