I've been following the trial related to the Boulder King Soopers shooting, and something that's really been on my mind is how this case highlights the heroism and bravery of first responders. It's heartbreaking to think about Officer Eric Talley, who rushed into the dangerous scene to confront the situation. The fact that he sacrificed his life in an attempt to save others is both incredibly courageous and tragic. I can't help but feel immense respect for him and the other first responders who were there that day, knowing they might not make it out alive.
