I've been following the Shuglie case and something that caught my attention is the involvement of the priest Janet was supposed to meet on the day she disappeared. Has there ever been any follow-up on that aspect? It's odd that she was reportedly on her way to meet him for counseling but then vanished. I wonder if the authorities have ever looked into his whereabouts or possible connection—either as a potential witness or someone who might have more insights into Janet's state of mind at the time. It's a detail that seems to have slipped through the cracks over the years. Anyone have further info or thoughts on this angle?
Has anyone else been intrigued by the reappearance of Janet Shuglie's class ring in 2019? It's one of those details that just adds layers to the mystery. Why did it surface after all these years, and where was it all along? It makes me wonder if someone who knows more about the case decided to come forward or if it was just stumbled upon accidentally. Either way, the fact that such a personal item appeared after decades intrigued me. Could this be the missing piece or at least a clue to unravel more of this story? It’s bizarre how physical evidence can suddenly pop up after so long. Anyone have thoughts or theories on how this might fit into the larger puzzle of their disappearances?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been reading up on the Marisa and Janet Shuglie case, and something that's really stuck with me is the discovery of Janet’s class ring in 2019. I can't help but wonder about the significance of this piece of evidence. How did it resurface, and where exactly was it found? Was it near the area they were last seen, or somewhere completely unexpected?
Given that it's been decades since their disappearance, the ring feels like a breadcrumb that maybe got overlooked originally. Could it have been left behind intentionally, or maybe even accidentally dropped by Janet or someone involved? Also, why hasn't it led to any new breakthroughs in such an old case? It's baffling thinking about how something like a class ring, which can have such sentimental and identifiable value, hasn’t resulted in more substantial leads.
Does anyone else have thoughts on this or know details I might have missed about where the ring was found? I'm curious if it points to anything we've all overlooked in the case so far.
Any insights or theories would be appreciated!
Thanks!
