Did anyone else read about how the community set up an online fundraiser to help the families with funeral costs? It's so moving to see the neighbors and friends rallying together to support them during such an indescribably difficult time. I've read countless stories of how each victim touched the lives around them, especially Sandra, who was always described as kind-hearted and smiling. It really shows how important it is for communities to come together after these kinds of tragedies. Anyone know how else we might be able to lend a hand or show our support from afar? Let's keep the momentum going and not let their memories fade.

I came across a news interview with a neighbor, Gladis Bustos, who knew one of the victims really well. It struck me deeply how she described her friend as "really sweet, really kind, always smiling." I can't stop thinking about what a huge loss this is for their community. It's clear from everything being said that Sandra and the others were genuinely loved and cherished by those around them. What catches my attention is how sometimes the deepest issues in a relationship can fly under the radar until it’s too late. From all that's been shared, it's so hard to imagine that there hadn't been major red flags in the past given how quickly the situation escalated. Domestic violence doesn't always manifest in visible ways, and that's truly terrifying. Those of you who are more knowledgeable about handling such situations, what are some subtle signs that people might miss? It's heartbreaking that it takes such an event to remind us how vigilant we need to be with our loved ones. Please, everyone, stay safe and keep your eyes open, not just for yourselves but for those who might be in silent but serious danger.
