Hi everyone, I've been following Kaylie Marcum's case, and something that really strikes me is the role of community support in the aftermath of such tragedies. It’s heartwarming to see local organizations stepping up for domestic violence victims. It speaks volumes about the power of unity and support when someone is in a desperate situation. I've read that Artists Creating Equitable Solutions (ACES) is offering art therapy as a form of healing and support. It's refreshing to see creative solutions being emphasized, especially since Kaylie was an aspiring artist herself. It's like they're helping to keep her spirit alive through the arts while supporting those who are in similar situations. It's bewildering that in situations like these, even when there are signs, it's still so hard for victims to find the resources or courage to reach out. I hope this community's efforts can make a difference for others and honor Kaylie’s memory. Anybody else have thoughts on how communities could be improved to better prevent or lessen situations like this? Would love to hear your ideas or experiences. Stay safe out there, and let’s continue to support one another. ❤️
