I was just reading about the tragic case of Daniel Diaz-Rojas, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's been over a year, and it still baffles me how no arrests have been made yet. The fact that it happened in such a public place like Federal Boulevard should mean that there are witnesses out there, or at least some decent surveillance footage. I know the police are doing their best, but it's frustrating to think those responsible are still at large.
I'm particularly puzzled by the description of the suspects' vehicle. An older silver or light blue minivan is a pretty vague description, but someone has to know something, right? It just seems like someone might remember seeing a vehicle like that on June 23 last year. If anyone saw anything suspicious or has any clue, however small, I really hope they find the courage to contact the Denver Police Department or Crime Stoppers. Daniel deserves justice, and I can only imagine the pain his loved ones are going through every day that this case remains unsolved.
