I've been looking into the tragic loss of Deputy Andrew Peery, and one aspect that really struck me was the level of training and leadership he brought to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office SWAT Team. It's clear from his impressive record that he was not only committed to his duty but also deeply invested in mentoring his fellow officers. The fact that he served as both a Sniper Team Leader and eventually an Assistant Team Leader speaks volumes about his capabilities and dedication. It's so difficult to think about how much wisdom and guidance the team lost that day. My heart goes out to his fellow team members who not only lost a leader but also a friend. His legacy of service and mentorship is something that will undoubtedly be remembered and appreciated for years to come. Does anyone else have information on how his team is coping with such a significant loss?
