It's been over 30 years since Jason William Boulton's disappearance, and it seems his case is stuck in limbo without any new leads. What's been baffling to me is that in all this time, despite being listed in national missing persons databases, we haven't seen any significant breakthroughs or updates. I'm curious about the technology available nowadays versus what was around back in 1989. With advancements in sonar and search equipment, has anything been attempted recently to try and locate him in Lake Ontario? I know it's a long shot given the size of the lake and the time that's passed, but has there been any talk about revisiting the area with today's tech? It's frustrating to think that newer methods might provide answers, yet I'm not sure if that's even on the radar for authorities. Thoughts from anyone who follows this case closely or has insight into these kinds of search efforts?
