Has anyone looked into the possibility that Robert might have intentionally gone off the grid? I've read a few cases where people start a new life elsewhere for various reasons. The fact that he used two different spellings for his last name—Sturgill and Stargill—could indicate that he was trying to create a separate identity for himself. I know it's a long shot, but could he have been planning to disappear? It’s been over 30 years, and there are no traces. It’s almost like he vanished into thin air, and it's puzzling that there haven't been any credible sightings or leads. I'm hoping that someone might remember anything odd or out of the ordinary from around the time he went missing. Sometimes the smallest detail can open new avenues in an investigation.

Has anyone else looked into the possible connection between Robert Sturgill's disappearance and other missing persons cases in the Lucerne area around the same time? Given how small the community is, it seems odd that there hasn't been more chatter about potential links. I've been wondering if there might be a pattern or a common link that we just haven't figured out yet. Anyone with local knowledge or insights? It's just so strange that nothing new has come up for over three decades. Maybe a fresh look with modern technology might give us some answers. What do you think?
