Just caught up on the awful details from the Willow Park Neighborhood case. My heart goes out to those poor victims' families. I can't even begin to imagine the shock and pain they must be going through. I've been thinking about the role of family members in discovering such tragedies. It's a terrifying thought that they had to make such a devastating discovery during a welfare check. They were just going there out of concern and ended up uncovering something unimaginable. It's a grim reminder of how crucial it is for law enforcement to thoroughly check houses when responding to welfare calls, even when the situation doesn't immediately seem alarming. I hope the families get all the support they need right now and that the suspect, now in custody, really faces justice for such a horrific act. Continuing to send positive thoughts to Aurora and everyone touched by this. Stay safe, everyone.
