I've been thinking a lot about the role of the former employer, Sturgeon Electric Co., in all this. I wish more could have been done to prevent this—especially if an ERPO could have removed firearms from the equation. It’s a harsh wake-up call on how society needs to address such warning signs. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this, and I hope the legal system learns to navigate these serious red flags more effectively in the future.
