Hey everyone,
I've been diving into the John Watson case from 1921, and something that really caught my attention was the sheer determination of the law enforcement during that time. I've read that five men were apprehended, and I can't help but think about the pressure those officers must have felt to bring some semblance of justice to Watson's family and colleagues. It speaks volumes about their dedication to their fellow agent and their commitment to public safety.
I wonder what it was like in the small community of Anthony, New Mexico, back then. It must have been incredibly intense, with emotions running high among both the locals and law enforcement. It’s a small town now, and I can only imagine how tight-knit it must have been over a century ago. Makes you think about the impact it had on the town and Watson's family.
If anyone happens to have more information or theories on how these men were apprehended, or how the community reacted, it would be interesting to hear!
