Hey everyone,
I've been following this case for a while now, and something that's been on my mind is the victim's possible alias. If "Antonio Perez" was indeed a fake name, why might he have used it? Was he running from something or someone, or maybe involved in something shady himself? Or could he have been using it for protection? It's just so unsettling to think that this young man's real identity is still unknown after all these years, and his family might have no idea what happened to him. I can't even begin to imagine what they must be feeling, not knowing where their loved one is or what happened to him.
It's such a tragic situation; all the unresolved questions make this case even more frustrating. If anyone has insight or theories, I'd love to hear them. It just seems like someone somewhere has to know something that could help piece together who he was or what he was up to.
Has anyone else been following the case of the unidentified man found in Hatch, New Mexico back in '94? I've been thinking about the fact that he had $10.18 in cash on him. It's such a small detail, but it makes me wonder if he was planning to get something specific or if it was just what he happened to have left. So many aspects of this case don't add up, and it's frustrating that we still don't even know for sure who he was. I can't imagine how his family must feel, not knowing if he had anyone who could step forward and identify him. It's just so tragic that after all these years, we're no closer to finding any answers. If anyone has any more information or theories about him, I'd love to hear them. Every bit of information might help shed light on who he was and why this happened to him.
Hey everyone, I've been diving into the Hatch motel case from '94, and something that's been gnawing at me is the mystery surrounding the identity of the victim they've been calling Antonio Perez. It's just so tragic that after nearly 30 years, his family might still not know what happened to him.
I came across a description of what he was wearing when he was found—black jeans, a blue shirt, and those black and white high-tops. It just feels so personal, like these were the things he chose to wear that day without knowing it might be his last. The detail that really gets to me is the healed scars on his elbows. It makes you wonder what kind of life he had and what experiences left those marks. Did anyone from the community back then notice someone who fit that description? Maybe there was a friend or relative who just didn't know where to look for their missing loved one.
We all know how critical the first steps in an investigation are, but when the victim's identity is unknown, it's like searching for clues in the dark. I can't imagine the frustration and sadness of not knowing who this young man was, let alone why someone would take his life. If anyone has any thoughts or remembers anything, even something small, it might help piece together who "Antonio" really was and, hopefully, bring some kind of justice and peace to those who might have been waiting all these years.
